Two kind of clause :
An Independent clause is a complete sentence. It contains a subject and a verb. It can stand alone as a sentence.
A Dependent clause is not complete sentence. It must be conected to and independent clause.
example :

- As a pilot that flies plane around the world
- The bird fly in the sky
- When she came and saw me
- During the storm that happened and destroyed the city last night
- After Mr.Wilson visited this country for business
- James always finihes his job on time
- Although he has met and said the truth to his boss
- Only five minutes, I can do it well
- Because she came late and sat down without permission
- By the time 2012, I will have graduated from his university
